STIMMY

Tokenized US Treasury bills (SGOV), distributed on-chain to STIMMY holders

STIMMY

Every round the accrued SGOV fees are paid out to one holder

Every 10,000 STIMMY held at the snapshot block is one ticket. Odds are exactly proportional to balance.

Buy & Hold

Each round snapshots every STIMMY balance at one block. Every 10,000 tokens is one ticket with a contiguous ticket range. No registration and no claim step: the balance is the entry.

Paid in Treasuries

STIMMY is priced in SGOV on pons, so every trade's fee accrues in SGOV: tokenized shares of the iShares 0-3 Month Treasury Bond ETF, which holds short-dated US Treasury bills. The full accrued balance is transferred to one wallet each round.

Provably Fair

The snapshot hash and a future drand round are committed on Robinhood Chain before that round exists. The seed, the winning ticket and the winner are recomputable by anyone from public data.

STIMMY is a pons launch on Robinhood Chain priced in SGOV rather than ETH. Trading fees are charged in SGOV and accrue to the launch's creator escrow. Every round the backend claims that balance and transfers all of it to a single holder, selected by a commit-reveal against the drand randomness beacon. There are no swaps and no discretionary steps: the asset the fees arrive in is the asset that is paid out.

Current Jackpot

SGOV Value0 SGOV
How the Jackpot WorksThe jackpot is the SGOV trading fees pons has collected and not yet paid out: what is still sitting on the launchpad plus what has already been claimed into the draw wallet. SGOV is a tokenized short-term US Treasury ETF. At each draw the fees are claimed and the entire balance is transferred to the winner. Nothing is swapped: SGOV in, SGOV out.

Tokenomics

STIMMY is launched on pons and priced in SGOV, tokenized shares of the iShares 0-3 Month Treasury Bond ETF on Robinhood Chain, rather than in ETH. Every buy or sell of STIMMY pays a 1% trading fee, charged in SGOV. 70% of the fee accrue to the creator escrow on pons and are claimed at each draw. Trading volume is the only input: the more STIMMY trades, the more SGOV is distributed.

Nothing is swapped along the way. Fees arrive as SGOV, the pot is counted in SGOV, and the winner receives SGOV. The draw wallet holds ETH for gas only, and a round does not start unless it can pay for its own transactions.

Draws

All draws can be seen below. The winner is determined by a seed derived from the drand randomness beacon, committed to on-chain before the randomness existed.

Provably Fair Drawings

Every drawing is fully transparent and provably fair. Anyone can independently verify each draw using the holder snapshots, the on-chain commitment and the drand beacon.

How the Draw Works

  1. Snapshot of HoldersAt the moment of each draw, we take a snapshot of all STIMMY token holders and their balances, pinned to one block.
    • For every 10,000 tokens, you get 1 ticket.
    • Each holder is assigned a ticket range (e.g. tickets 0–4, 5–9, etc.) based on their holdings. The snapshot is hashed with keccak256.
  2. Commitment Sealed On-chainThe snapshot hash and a future drand round number are hashed together and anchored in a Robinhood Chain transaction, before that round's randomness exists anywhere.
    • The chain's timestamp proves the order: commitment first, randomness second.
    • Change one holder's balance after the fact and the hash breaks.
  3. Provably Fair Randomnessdrand, a randomness beacon run by Cloudflare, EPFL, Kudelski and others, publishes the committed round. Its BLS signature is the entropy.
    • The number is unpredictable, unchangeable, and verifiable by anyone against drand's public key.
    • We provide the round number, randomness and signature for every draw.
  4. Selecting the WinnerThe seed iskeccak256(randomness ‖ snapshotHash) and the winning ticket is seed % totalTickets.
    • We check each holder's ticket range to see who owns the winning ticket.
    • The holder whose range includes the winning ticket is the winner!
  5. Claiming & Sending the PrizeAll collected fees are claimed from pons in SGOV and sent directly to the winner's wallet.

How You Can Verify

  • Download the SnapshotGet the holder snapshot and ticket assignment for the draw.
  • Check the CommitmentHash the snapshot, hash it with the round number, and compare to the calldata of the commitment transaction, which was mined before the round was published.
  • Fetch the drand RoundRead the round's randomness and signature straight from api.drand.sh.
  • Re-run the DrawUse the snapshot and the drand randomness to replicate the ticket selectionseed % totalTickets
  • Cross-verify the WinnerConfirm the winning ticket falls within the winner's ticket range.
Why this is fair:
The entire process is transparent and reproducible. All data (snapshots, ticket assignments, the commitment transaction, the drand round and every transaction link) is public, so anyone can independently verify every draw from start to finish. We choose nothing: we commit, the beacon decides, you replay it.
What to look out for:
The only possible way to cheat is for STIMMY to provide a manipulated snapshot of holders.

However for each draw, users can independently verify the snapshot by picking a random wallet in the snapshot and cross referencing on-chain data at the snapshot block to see if the selected wallet's token amount matches on-chain records.

There is no possible way for STIMMY to predict which wallet any user might choose to self-verify. Since anyone can independently select any wallet from the snapshot and compare its balance to on-chain data, this process is 100% bulletproof. And because the snapshot's hash is anchored on-chain before the randomness exists, the snapshot cannot be changed after the outcome is known either.
